I will be teaching Five Senses in Science in the coming 3 week block practicum. I will start with the power point presentation to serve as an introduction of the topic. This will also serve as a gauge in checking children's previous knowledge as well as verify their level of engagement.
In this activity, I will first be asking what are the five senses. Children will be shown a pictures of different senses and they will tell what part of the senses the pictures portray. They will be asked to answer the question, "what do i do with my sense of smell, taste, sight, touch, and hearing?"
At the end of the lesson, They should be able to specifically identify the use of each part of the senses.
